It was an honour today, on behalf of the agency, to receive the Possibility to Potential Employer Award from the Enrichment Centre for Mental Health . This recognition means a great deal to JHSB, and it reflects on the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our incredible staff.

JHSB would like to introduce our new therapy dog in training, Bee, a little pup with a big story.

Coming all the way from Nunavut, Bee didn’t have an easy start to life. At only 14 weeks old she has already faced uncertainty, instability, and challenges no animal should have to experience. But just like so many of the clients we support, Bee has shown incredible resilience. With patience, safety, and care, she’s learning to trust, grow, and step into a new purpose. Now, Bee is on her way to becoming a comforting presence for those who need it most. Her journey is a reminder that no one’s beginning defines their future.

If you’d like a snuggle or play, miss Bee can most frequently be located snoozing under our Executive Director’s desk at the Wallbridge office, feel free to come say hi. 😊
