The Alzheimer Society of Hastings-Prince Edward would like to recognize and thank the organizers of the 4th annual Dave Watson Memorial Car Show for donating over $4200 to our local Alzheimer Society. The September 6th show featured over 300 cars at the CAA Arena parking lot in Belleville and it was a beautiful day. We could not do what we do without the support of amazing fundraisers like George, Jess and their team. THANK YOU!

October is Community Support Month here in Ontario!

Showing appreciation and advocacy for all community support agencies and partners we work with, today and every day!

October is Community Support Month! ❤️

This month, we’re celebrating the people and services that make care at home possible.

From Meals on Wheels and transportation to adult day programs, respite, friendly visiting and home supports, community support services help people stay independent, connected and supported at home and in their communities.

Most importantly, we’re celebrating the people behind this work: staff, volunteers, caregivers, clients and community partners who make a difference every day.

This October, we’re putting Community First and shining a light on the people and services at the heart of care at home.

We were honoured to join the Marmora & Lake Public Library to offer Brain Health Education on Friday! Free public education opportunities like these would not be possible without the support and partnership of local organizations and libraries.

Thank you to the Alzheimer Society for dropping by the library to share how we can all keep our brains healthy at any age.
