Belleville Police Association members include frontline police officers, criminal investigators, special constable and court officers, communications operators, civilian specialists and support staff. The Executive Board of the Belleville Police Association protects those who protect others. The Executive supports members by helping to improve their working conditions in a number of ways: we lobby on behalf of our members for improved working conditions and represent our members in negotiations with the employers; we make sure our members are treated fairly and assist members with legal representation and advice; in partnership with the Police Association of Ontario we lobby various levels of government on issues involving public safety. Members of the Belleville Police Association are hard working professionals dedicated to keeping the City of Belleville a safe place to live, work, and visit. They are your neighbours, the police officer patrolling your street at night, the voice at the other end of the phone during an emergency and the support staff who quietly contributes to helping get the job done. The Belleville Police Association is the voice of our members, dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of the women and men who serve and protect your community.
