Village of Big Valley Welcome to Big Valley, population 349. We are a dynamic little community located in Central Alberta. We're proud of our history, people and community.

There is always plenty to do and see in Big Valley, so have a look around. Big Valley is a Village in central Alberta, south east of Red Deer. We are located 32 km (20 mi) south of Stettler and 64 km (40 mi) north of Drumheller on Highway 56 in the County of Stettler. We are the destination for Alberta Prairie Steam Railway Excursions.

The Village will be hosting an information session regarding the McKenzie bridge project in the fall. One of the engineers has agreed to attend to provide information for anyone that was unable to attend yesterday's event. Once we have a date, time and location established, we will post the information here and in the Whistle.
