🎉 Happy Small Business Week! 🎉

This week, we’re celebrating the heart and hustle behind our community, our small businesses! 💙

We’re celebrating your wins, your successes, your milestones, and everything in between. The long hours, the challenges, the risks, the resilience, and the determination it takes to keep showing up.

Small businesses are more than storefronts and services. They’re our neighbours, our friends, our families, and the foundation of our community.

To every small business owner in the Crowsnest Pass, we see you, we hear you, and we support you.

Your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re proud to stand behind the businesses that make our community what it is.

Here’s to you, and everything you bring to the Pass! 💙

Spooky season is upon us! Our Dark History kicks off on Oct 2, 2026 and wraps up on Oct 17, 2026. Only 9 tours available so reserve your spot online. (Speaking from first had experience the 8pm tours provide the most atmosphere. Just sayin'.)

This year we're focusing on the controversy of the 1910 disaster and what was left behind. Hint: It wasn't just coal.

What a day at the CNP 40 Youth Teen Amazing Race! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏠💰

We teamed up with one of our local Chamber members, Shannon Riviere Burton EXP Realty, and had 23 teams come racing through our station!

Our challenge gave the teens a crash course in buying, renovating and reselling a home or business. They had to earn their down payment, write a cheque for the balance, earn renovation funds, decide where to spend them, and then choose a resale price.

But they weren’t getting off that easy! 😉 They also had to explain what they renovated, how those improvements added value, and why they chose their final list price.

It was a chilly one, but such a great day, and pretty cool to watch these kids have fun while learning a few real-life skills along the way.

Huge thanks to everyone behind the Teen Amazing Race for putting together such a fantastic event for our local youth. We loved being part of it!
