Join the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre for our FREE Halloween Movie Night on October 30th, 2026!

Doors will open 6pm and movie begins at 6:30pm. Snacks and drinks will be available. Seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Can’t wait to see you there!

We had a furry visitor to the Interpretive Centre a few weeks ago. This black bear stopped to take in the view and look at the Frank Slide before moving along.

If you see wildlife onsite, please do not approach.

125 years ago today, Henry Frank and Samuel Gebo threw a spectacular party to launch their new town and mine. This party included over 900 kilograms of fresh fruit and ice cream!

We were so happy to have our friend Clip Clop visit us from the Re*****on Carriage Museum! He has been on a big trip this summer!

Clip Clop is visiting the Frank Slide Interpretive Centre in the Crowsnest Pass!

In 1903, Turtle Mountain collapsed, creating Canada’s deadliest rockslide and forever changing the Crowsnest Pass. Today, the Interpretive Centre shares this story through powerful exhibits, storytelling, and views overlooking the slide itself.

Clip Clop spent some time learning and reflecting on this stop and the stories it holds with the Frank Slide’s mascot Rumbler. It’s a place that leaves a lasting impression, one you don’t soon forget.
