🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Today is a day to remember, listen, learn and reflect. We honour Survivors, the children who never came home, and the families and communities forever impacted by residential schools.

The Learning Centre will be closed Wednesday, September 30th to respect the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

NCLC recognizes the Mississauga, Sagamok, Métis, and Anishnaabeg peoples who both historically and continue to steward the land upon which our centres operate. We stand in solidarity with these indigenous communities and with indigenous people within our communities. There can be no reconciliation without truth.

"It's amazing how strong we can be when we act out of love and respect and know we are a part of something much larger than ourselves.

May we all find the strength, warmth, and support to be able to speak our truths."

-- Garnet Angeconeb, from "Speaking My Truth: The Journey to Reconciliation."
