🎄 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: HELP US BRING FESTIVAL OF TREES TO LIFE! 🎄

It takes a lot of hands — and a little Christmas magic — to transform Kawartha Settlers’ Village for the 29th Annual Kawartha Lakes Festival of Trees!

We’re looking for some enthusiastic volunteers to join our **Indoor & Outdoor Decorating Teams** and help us get the Village ready for one of our favourite events of the year.

✨ INDOOR DECORATORS
Have an eye for decorating? We need skilled, creative volunteers who can help:
• Decorate Christmas trees
• Style holiday décor and displays
• Transform our historic buildings into festive spaces
• Add those special finishing touches that make the Village feel magical

🌲 OUTDOOR DECORATORS
Prefer to get outside and get hands-on? We need volunteers who are comfortable helping with:
• Hanging Christmas lights
• Installing greenery, garlands and outdoor décor
• Decorating buildings and outdoor spaces
• Tackling some of the larger, more physical decorating jobs around the Village

And this year, we could really use your help. ❤️

Decorating the entire Village is a huge undertaking, and many of the wonderful volunteers who have helped bring Festival of Trees to life year after year are getting older. We’d love to welcome some new faces, extra hands and fresh energy to the team.

You don’t have to do it alone — you’ll be joining a great group of volunteers who have a lot of fun working together to create something pretty incredible for our community.

Whether you’re a decorating whiz, handy with a ladder and string of lights, or simply someone who loves Christmas and wants to pitch in, we’d love to have you!

🎄 Help Make Festival of Trees Happen!

We’re looking for a few friendly faces to join our Festival of Trees Sponsorship Committee this fall!

If you enjoy connecting with local businesses and want to support one of our community’s favourite holiday traditions, we’d love to have you on the team.

✨ What’s involved?

From just after Labour Day through October, volunteers will connect with local businesses that have already received our sponsorship information, answer any questions and help coordinate the collection of donations.

No heavy sales pitch required! Many of our sponsors are returning supporters who already know and love Festival of Trees. Our office staff also take care of facilitating sponsorship payments — we just need your help making those community connections.

📍 We’re especially looking for someone who lives or works in the Lindsay area to help us expand our coverage there.

It’s a short-term volunteer commitment and a wonderful way to get involved behind the scenes while helping make Festival of Trees a success.

As part of the interactive tour you will visit downtown Bobcaygeon locations, discover clues all around Bobcaygeon, and watch short scenes performed by participants of our Summer Performance Camp.
