Boisdale Volunteer Fire Department - Station 34

Thoroughly enjoyed the concert in Boisdale last night.
Mairi Britton was singing a Gaelic
song that she had everyone singing along as we arrived.
Howie MacDonald (accompanied by Beverley MacLean) played great selections and his commentary had everyone in stitches.
Shawnee Tish, a vocal powerhouse
with a stunning presence was very impressive
The second half was the beloved
Bumblebees!!! 🐝
Back together for a performance
after 30 years.
Laoise Kelly, the harp player sadly could not make the festival at the last minute but fortunately the talented Corinna Dawn stood in and made for a wonderful set of music.
The humour still with them … Liz commenting with laughter “leave it to Cape Breton to have the first green room that a fire truck pulled out of for an emergency. 🚒…….👨🏻‍🚒”
(Everything turned out ok though)
A beautiful finale with all the artists finished off the night.
with Mairi Britton joining in with some
great steps
So nice to see many familiar faces
and meet some new ones.
Loved not having to drive too
far and then back home with
Lisa MacArthur. ❤️
Got to visit and get a little photo
of the Bumblebees. 🐝
