πŸ›‘ STOP FOR SCHOOL BUSES: KEEP OUR STUDENTS SAFE! 🚌

Now that school is officially back in session, hundreds of NLPS students are travelling on our school buses every day. Drivers, please take extra care during morning pick-ups and afternoon drop-offs!

Crucial Bus Safety Reminders:

πŸ›‘ Red Lights & Stop Arm: When a school bus stops and turns on its flashing red lights with the stop arm extended, traffic in BOTH directions must come to a complete stop. Passing a school bus with red lights flashing is illegal and puts young lives at risk!

🚢 Watch the Bus Stops: Children are excited to see their friends! Please slow down near bus stops, look out for kids walking or waiting near the curb, and expect the unexpected.

🟑 Yellow Lights: Flashing yellow lights mean the bus is preparing to stop. Slow down and prepare to stopβ€”do not speed up to pass!

Let's work together to ensure every child arrives safely at school and back home every single day. πŸ’™
