⛳ A Hole-in-One for a Great Cause!

After nearly a decade away, the Bedpan Classic made its return, bringing together Muskoka's first responders and healthcare professionals for a day of golf, friendly competition and giving back!

With 60 participants hitting the greens at Muskoka Highlands Golf Links, this year's tournament raised an incredible $3,500 in support of Hospice Muskoka's Andy's House! 💙

Following the tournament, members of Muskoka Paramedic Services were proud to present a cheque to Hospice Muskoka, supporting the compassionate end-of-life care they provide to individuals and families across our community.

A special thank you to Muskoka Paramedic Services Primary Care Paramedic Pearson Rea and Muskoka Ambulance Communications Centre ACO Charlotte Southworth for bringing this event back to life, along with the many participants, sponsors and prize donors who helped make it possible.

✈️ Emergency Training Exercise Taking Place at Muskoka Airport Today

Please be assured this is a planned training exercise, not an active emergency.

Exercises like this provide an important opportunity for emergency response teams to practise their procedures, strengthen communication and information-sharing, and prepare for real-life situations.

Residents and travellers may notice increased emergency vehicle activity and first responders in the area throughout the exercise.
