Yesterday was the Lion's annual Chris Lewis Day of Service. While Lion Scott was helping with Smile Cookies for Timmies, other Lions were playing Bingo at Muskoka Hills Retirement Centre and Castle Peak Retirement Residence. In total about 50 residents from the two homes came out for a few hours of entertainment and prizes.

As mentioned last week Madison won the public speaking contest for Bracebridge.
Lion Ed advised that Madison from Monk School, Then went on to the District Effective Speaking contest and won first place which was hosted by the Stayner Lions Club.

She will now go on to compete at the MDA level in St. Catharines, on May 1st.
Congratulations and good luck in the next round.

Hello Muskoka Once again the Lions Club of Bracebridge is holding its annual Charity Golf Tournament. We need the communities support and you can help in 4 ways:
1) Come out and golf. The sign up form is below
2) Not a golfer, can you help sponsor a hole? Again the form is below. The cost is $150.00 and you get a placard with your name at one of the 18 holes.
3) Can you donate to the prize table. Can be as little as $25.00 from your favourite store in town.
4) Make a donation to the Lions Foundation. All donations over $25 get a tax receipt.

All the funds raised in this event stay in the community to help support local needs.
