ELECT Babita Vote for Regional City Councillor Brampton Babita Gupta graduated in political science and went onto did a Mass Communication diploma while completing her MBA.

She also did a film making course from the New York Film Academy. After completing her director’s course from the New York Film Academy, Babita made her first sports genre documentary – Winds of Change. Babita then went onto direct a series for the Indian National Broadcaster, Doordarshan, Fields and Beyond. She then went on and directed her first feature film – Prithipal Singh, a story – a compel

ling watch of a three-time field hockey Olympic medalist; silver in 60’, gold in 64’ and bronze in 68’. Prithipal opened to solid reviews across Punjab and India and also went onto win awards at the LA Film Festival and Toronto Sports Film Festival.

To each voter, a big Thank You
I know for most of us the elections did not turn out the way we had hoped.

But I want to take this moment and congratulate Michael Paul Palleschi for a winning campaign.
I also want to say, once again, thank you to each and every one in Ward 2 & 6. Your support and encouragement was extraordinary.
There are so many individuals and groups who have helped me at the polls. Over the next few days, weeks, I will meet each of you and thank you individually.
No, I am not stepping back into the shadows. In fact, I am stepping up. I will put in more effort, understand the issues better, help the elected, and be there for everyone who needs a helping hand.
When ever I spoke to you, met you, I always came back with a feeling of warmth, of acceptance. That will now be my driving force going forward.
If there is any support, helping hand, assistance you require, please feel free to call me. I will do whatever required to stand by you.
I would like to give a big shoutout to my volunteers they made it possible for me to reach every door!!!
