Online learning can be difficult at times. It is hard to juggle working from home and trying to have your little one stay focused. Remember to have FUN! Have off-screen time, go outside and breathe. 🤗

❣️🦁The Lions Club🦁❣️

A special thank you to the Streetsville Lions Club for their generous donation! Like the Lions Club, we are volunteer based. Our staff is comprised by highly educated teachers and teaching assistants that simply want to give back to the community. The Streetsville Lions Club’s contribution has allowed us to purchase large canopies to keep us nice and cool in the summer, and protected from the elements in the spring so that nothing can keep us from the adventures of outdoor learning!

The Laird House Eco-Sports Camp set up a booth at the Bread and Honey Festival ... pre-COVID of course! 😉

We had such a blast joining hands with other Non-Profits in the community! Our staff set up fun, interactive and educational games for festival goers to participate in.

Which game do you like better: frisby golf or soccer? 🥏 ✨ ⚽️

Worried about child care with all of the teacher strikes next week? Not to worry, the Laird House EcoSports Camp will be Open during the week days during the Education Labour Dispute❗️

We’ve got super knowledgeable retired teachers and volunteers who will coordinate fun activities for your kids! There will also be specific study periods for any home work completion during school closures as well 📚

With temps dropping this week we are really dreaming of those warm summer days!

Come visit The Laird House Eco-Sports Educational Camp this summer! Here is a list of 4 things we love!

1) We love nature! (Eco Schools, fun activities)

2) We love nutrition (great lunches and snacks, Zero Carbon footprint

3) We love indigenous crafts (bird houses, dream Catchers , totem poles, teepees)

4) We love Sports (kids play any of our fun sports, team play, mindfulness, and confidence)
