Brampton Needs Its Second Hospital.

Approved in 2021.
It’s now September 2026 — and construction still hasn’t started.

Residents have paid an extra 1% property tax for four years toward this hospital.

Yet millions continue to be spent on other city priorities.

At a time when families are struggling,
we need accountability — not wasteful spending.

Kewal Shah
Candidate for Ward 2 & 6

It’s time to wake up, Brampton.

$10.9 MILLION SPENT — BUT WHO IS ACTUALLY GETTING THE SERVICE?

Brampton has invested $10.9 million in new transit services, reportedly costing around $30,000 EVERY SINGLE DAY.

But here’s the problem
If you live in Ward 2 or Ward 6, open the Argo app and try requesting a ride.

You may find that this service isn't available in large parts of Wards 2 & 6.

Instead, the service is focused on the *downtown Brampton core* — an area that is already relatively well connected to transit.

Meanwhile, residents in Ward 2 and Ward 6 are still waiting at bus stops for reliable transit service.

Millions are being spent.
Residents are still waiting.
Property taxes keep rising.

The question is simple:
Are we spending taxpayers' money where residents need it most?

Our community deserves leadership that will ask the tough questions, demand accountability, and put residents first.

I’m Keval Shah — not a seasoned politician. I’m a hardworking citizen, just like you.
Together, let's build a stronger, more accountable Brampton.

It’s time.
Wake Up Brampton.

BRAMPTON, WE NEED ANSWERS!

Do you know about 175 Sandalwood Parkway West?
In December 2020, this property was purchased for $32.5 million.

Just 2½ years later, in September 2023, the City of Brampton purchased it for $77.9 million.

That’s a $45 million difference.

The big question is: WHAT DID BRAMPTON TAXPAYERS GET FOR IT?
Where is the transparency?
What is the plan for this property?

Brampton needs investments that directly benefit residents — not spending that leaves taxpayers asking questions.

If you live in Ward 2 or 6, remember these decisions when you vote this election.

I’m Keval Shah, and I believe Brampton deserves transparency, accountability, and responsible leadership.

It’s time. Wake Up, Brampton.

BRAMPTON: 1600% FEE INCREASE?

Did you know the City of Brampton has increased the minor variance application fee from $720 to $12,000?

That’s an increase of almost 1,600% on the base fee.

Think about that for a moment.

If you run a small or private business, could you suddenly increase your prices by 1,600% and expect your customers to simply accept it?

Why should taxpayers and local businesses have to?

These kinds of decisions have a real impact on homeowners, entrepreneurs, and families trying to build their future in Brampton.

And when decisions like this are supported by our elected representatives, we have to ask:

Who is standing up for the residents?
Who is questioning these massive increases?
Who is putting taxpayers first?

If you live in Ward 2 or Ward 6 and you're not happy with the direction of our city, this election is your opportunity to demand change.

I’m Keval Shah, and I’m running for City Councillor in Wards 2 & 6.

I’m not a seasoned politician.
I’m a hardworking citizen who cares about our neighbourhood — just like you.

Let's build a stronger, more affordable, and accountable Brampton together.

Because it’s time.

Wake Up, Brampton.
