Regeneration Outreach Community Restore. Renew. Rebuild. Our name, Regeneration Outreach Community is a name that is rich with meaning. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink.

Regeneration Outreach Community is community of caring persons who, as an expression of Christian love in action, are continually striving to provide dignity to the lives of all those in need. This is the dictionary definition of our name:

[ri-jen-uh-rey-shuhn] - The act of rebirth or renewal
[out-reech] - To reach out
[kuh-myoo-ni-tee] An interacting population of various kinds of individuals in

a common location. I believe that Jesus describes our community in an amazing passage from Matthew 25. “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.”

This is what Regeneration is all about.

It's Volunteer Appreciation Week! This week, we're shining the spotlight on our incredible volunteers who support us every step of the way. Volunteers are the heart of non-profits, consistently showing up to make a difference in their community! Whether you give your time, resources, or expertise, we're honored to have you as part of our community! 🌟

Our Volunteer Appreciation Week party will be this Thursday April 23rd 5pm 156 Main St N (in our fellowship hall!) - We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you superstars 🤗

For CNOY 2026, we asked some of our guests: “What is home?” — these are just a few of their heartfelt responses. Home is more than a physical place. It can be comforting smell, a loved one’s home-cooked meal, the feeling of being loved and cared for…

Many of our guests face housing insecurity and even chronic homelessness. At Regen, we try to emulate the feeling of “home” by treating everyone who walks through our doors with love, respect, and empathy. We provide warm meals made with love, we advocate, and we are there for our community members regardless of their circumstance. With that being said, access to affordable and stable housing shouldn’t be a luxury. Everyone deserves housing.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to , , , and Skjodt-Barrett Foods for their incredible donations and support over the past year, in partnership with . Together, they’ve donated over 71,000lbs of food to Regeneration! 🤩 This kind of support is crucial in our mission to provide reliable and consistent access to nutritious (and delicious) food for our community.

Every year, we’re humbled by the outpouring of support from our community - this morning, we’re sitting at just under $190,000 in donations from all of you 🤩 We are incredibly thankful and honoured to be a part of a community that cares for its most vulnerable neighbours. 💙
