We are on a roll! With Sunnybrook Regional Base Hospitals' re-launch of the Save Pin earlier this year, many of our outstanding paramedics are now receiving their pins and certificates. Paramedic Christopher L has demonstrated just how amazing Paramedics are! Congratulations Chris.

We've been so fortunate to celebrate a number of Peel Paramedics with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest saves. Superintendent Skaruz presented Paramedic Ryan F with a Save Pin during his start-of-shift parade. Congratulations

Carla, Mark, Angel and Joanne received an amazing total of 6 out-of-hospital cardiac arrest saves in 2024! For paramedics to receive this acknowledgement is incredibly meaningful and validating to the selfless work they do every day! Well done!

Today, Superintendent Elvis Silva proudly presented Paramedic Chris Rallos with the Cardiac Arrest Save Pin in recognition of his exceptional actions during a cardiac arrest call that resulted in a life being saved.

Every Cardiac Arrest Save Pin represents more than clinical excellence, it represents teamwork, compassion, decisive action, and a commitment to giving patients their best chance at survival.
