40 years ago, 2 PI leaders met with a young Brazilian couple, Marcio and Damaris Garcia, who had an extraordinary vision to bring the hope of Jesus to remote fishing villages along Brazil’s vast coastline and into unreached communities.

That meeting led to a partnership with EMAF (Evangelical Mission for Assistance to Fishermen), and by God’s grace, we’ve walked together for 40 years!

What began as a small ministry has grown into a movement of 93 missionaries and more than 1,600 volunteers, sharing the Gospel to remote communities across Brazil and deep into the Amazon.

One recent story captures the impact beautifully:
A young man named Maicon once asked a passing government worker for a Bible. Later, through a “wrong turn” on a river journey, EMAF leaders arrived in his village for the very first time. They engaged Maicon in conversations, and on January 24, 2026, Maicon gave his life to Jesus. Since then, members of his family have also come to faith.

Just one Bible and one seeming wrong turn, and one family has been transformed for Jesus!

They say life begins at 40, so as we celebrate 40 years of partnership with EMAF, we believe this is only the beginning of what God will continue to do through faithful local leaders and communities transformed by the Gospel.

Help us celebrate this milestone!

To Anna, walking hand in hand with her child was a miracle.

That’s why when Anna attended a parenting lesson called Happy Child, she chose a card showing a mother walking beside her child. It was deeply personal because there was a time she never thought that would be possible for her daughter, Lia.

Born with physical disabilities affecting her nervous system, Lia faced difficult challenges from the very beginning. Anna was told raising her would be too hard, and soon after, she found herself parenting alone.

But thanks to our faithful partners who equip our local leaders in Moldova, Anna and Lia found support, therapy, encouragement, and community through the Urban Kids centre.

Today, Lia is walking, speaking more, and growing stronger every day.
And they are not alone.

Right now, 105 preschool children and their parents are receiving comprehensive care through this program. They experience the love of Jesus, practical support, and a safe community amid difficult circumstances.

Stories like Lia’s are possible because faithful partners like you continue to stand with vulnerable children and families in some of the world’s toughest places.

Thank you for being part of the hope.

If you’d like to continue making stories like this possible, or become a partner today, we’d love for you to join us:

At 3 a.m., a mother woke her children and ran into the night to survive the bombs.

They had no plan, and could take nothing with them. At this point, all they had were their lives, each other, and the hope to survive.

Today, her family is displaced. 9 of them, including her in-laws, live crowded in a single room, uncertain where their next meal will come from.

And millions of families around the world are facing the same reality.

We invite you to be a channel of hope for these displaced families.

Through our local partners on the front lines, families are receiving food, shelter, care, and the message that they are not forgotten.

You can be part of that hope:
- $30 feeds a family
- $120 supports them for a month
- $500 helps them begin again

Please give today. Because every displaced family deserves more than survival.
With as little as $30, you can help a whole family!

They deserve a future.

The truth cost Rohan everything he knew!

As a tribal priest in a remote village, Rohan was respected. People came to him for rituals, healing, and guidance. His life revolved around ancient traditions and spiritual practices passed down for generations.

Yet deep inside, he desperately wanted to know the true God of the universe and His powers.

That hunger led him into conversations with one of our local partners. For months, they spoke about faith, forgiveness, and the Gospel. Rohan was drawn to the message of Jesus, but walking away from his old life felt impossible.

And then, like Pharaoh, his heart hardened.

Confused by cultural differences and pressured by those around him, Rohan became hostile toward Christianity. The cost of following Christ seemed too great. His position, income, and even his family relationships were on the line.

But God was still at work.

One night, Rohan had a vision of Christ that changed everything. The longing in his soul was finally answered. He began reading Scripture and learned that Jesus came to restore, heal and redeem humanity.

Finally, in a Gospel gathering, Rohan surrendered his life to Christ.

Today, he’s turned away from harmful spiritual practices and is learning to walk faithfully with Jesus, despite intense opposition from fellow priests and relatives. He is now praying for the strength to grow in his faith and the courage to share the Gospel with others.

This is the impact of partnership.
Because faithful supporters like you stand with frontline workers serving in dangerous and remote places, lives like Rohan’s are being transformed by the hope of Jesus, even where the Gospel is hardest to reach.

Please continue praying for our local partners who risk rejection, persecution, and danger to bring the love of Christ to unreached communities. And pray for new believers like Rohan, that they would remain strong in their faith.

Together, we are bringing the light of Jesus to the world’s hardest places!

Through a daughter’s lens ❤️

“When I was little, I used to wonder how my mom could carry so much love for so many people.

She was already my mother… but somehow, she became a mother to dozens more.

I watched children arrive at our home carrying pain, loss, and uncertainty. And as I watched my mom welcome every single one, they became family.

What began with my parents taking in two boys whose parents couldn’t raise them, slowly became a home overflowing with brothers, sisters, prayers, laughter, and hope.

There were nights she came home exhausted from ministry and caring for the children. There were moments she was hurt, misunderstood, or carrying burdens no one else could see.
But she never stopped praying. She never stopped serving. And never stopped pointing us toward Jesus.

Watching her run the orphanage, I never felt like I was losing my mom to others. Instead, I gained a bigger family and witnessed what sacrificial love truly looks like.”

This is what our Partner’s daughter in Nepal had to say about her mother, celebrating her impact and influence in her life.

This Mother’s Day, we celebrate mothers like her; every donor and local ministry leader whose quiet sacrifices are helping share the Gospel and bring hope to children and families in some of the world’s hardest places.

Your love, prayers, and generosity are shaping lives in ways that will echo for generations.

What's one thing you admire most about your mother? We'd love to celebrate her with you!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Ever wonder what difference your giving is really making?

Let’s tell you about one…

In a remote village shaped by animist traditions and struggling with widespread alcohol abuse, families have been deeply affected. Broken relationships, neglected children, and daily conflict have become the norm.

But change began with a local leader you gave to support.

Brother G, who feels called to step into this community, has been doing just that.

Week after week, he shows up with God’s love reflected through practical care. He’s helping families understand the impact of addiction, guiding parents in caring for their children, and offering a new vision of life marked by peace, faith, and restoration.

His visits offer a glimpse of a different way of life; a better way of life, marked by peace, faith, wholeness, and restored relationships. While the transformation is gradual, the seeds of hope are being planted.

This is the impact of your partnership.
Your giving is reaching places most people will never go, and changing lives in response to the love of God.

And there’s more work to be done. Please join us:

Pakistan needs our prayers

As a recent legal ruling increases the risks of Christian vulnerable girls and tensions grow across the nation, let’s stand with believers in prayer.

Lord,
Be a refuge for those at risk. Protect young girls from harm and surround families with Your peace. Strengthen leaders to speak truth with courage, and bring justice where there is inequality.

As Pakistan stands in a significant position amid unrest and rising conflict, guide those in authority with wisdom. Let peace prevail; within Pakistan and beyond.

May Your Church stand united, bold in faith and anchored in hope.
Amen.

“You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted… defending the fatherless and the oppressed.” Psalm 10:17–18

This little boy hugged a gas cylinder like it was something precious… because it was. For his family, it meant they could cook again, stay warm again, and breathe a little easier.

This is happening every day through our local leaders in Lebanon.

Because they are a part of the community they serve, they show up differently. This is family to them.

They are faithfully showing up for displaced families, bringing food, fuel, and essentials, while offering presence, dignity, and hope in the middle of a crisis.

Families are receiving:
• Monthly food support
• Cooking gas, stoves, diapers, and milk for children
• Help with school fees so children can stay in class

What began through the Oasis program years ago has grown into a network of care that continues to expand. Today, over 300 people have come to faith, 6 churches have been planted, and home groups are multiplying across the region.

More than anything, though, it’s the consistent presence that matters. The quiet visits and shared meals remind families that they are not forgotten.

It reminds them of love.

Thank you for being part of it.

If you’d like to stand with us, we invite you to partner with us as we continue to bring relief, restoration, and the hope of Christ to families in need:
