A child belongs in a classroom, not on the streets.

Imagine being a child who wants to go to school but can’t afford the fees.

In many of the countries where we work, education isn’t free. When families can’t pay, children are sent home. And for many, that means selling goods on the streets just to help their families survive. Others risk being drawn into crime, with fewer opportunities to build a better future.

But it doesn’t have to end there.

Through our trusted local Christian partners, we’re helping children in their own communities access opportunities they might otherwise miss. These leaders know the children, understand their challenges, and are already there to help make a difference.

Your generosity can change a child’s story and give them more than a chance to learn. You can give them hope, opportunity, and the chance to build a different future, while also growing in their faith in God.

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are full because of what God is doing through local leaders in some of the hardest places on earth, and because of each of you, coming alongside them in the ways that matter most.

Every child deserves the chance to ask, “What could my future look like?”

For too many children living in poverty, that question is overshadowed by more immediate concerns: Will I be able to stay in school? Will my family be able to afford my fees? What happens if I have to drop out?

This month, we are praying for children back in school.

As children around the world begin a new school year, we pray for God’s protection over them. We ask the Lord for wisdom, strength and a desire to learn and grow. May this new school year be a beautiful one in Jesus' name.

Thank you for praying for and giving to Nepal!

With the devastating floods that swept through northern Nepal, families were left facing loss, uncertainty and urgent needs.

But thanks to your generosity, relief efforts are underway. Our local leaders began helping immediately, reaching their affected communities and neighbours with love, care, and practical support.

These pictures are just a glimpse into the ongoing response and the difference you are making.

Thank you for standing with the people of Nepal.

A classroom door can lead somewhere much bigger.

For a child growing up in poverty, education can begin a whole new future.

But getting through that door isn't always easy.
School fees, uniforms, books and supplies can place education out of reach for families already struggling to make ends meet.

That's why our local Christian leaders are helping children access the education they need to learn, grow and dream.

Because she was a girl, Nera was told there were things she could never do.

Her freedom and opportunities were limited, and eventually, she found herself caught in abusive and unsafe situations that she had to be rescued.

Nera was brought to a safe home run by one of our local Christian partners in India, a place where children rescued from abuse and exploitation can find the safety, care and space to begin healing.

But safety was only the beginning.
Nera needed someone to help her believe her life could be different.

At the home, she found people who walked beside her, reminded her of God’s love and her worth and helped her discover what she was capable of.

Then she discovered a love for beauty and began training as a beautician, and she worked hard. She excelled in her course, and when she turned 18, she had the opportunity to work as a temporary helper in a beauty parlour.

Her dedication then earned her a permanent position.

Today, Nera earns her own income, contributes to her family, and stands on her own feet. One of her father’s proudest moments was accompanying his daughter to her beautician course graduation.

Just imagine that journey!

From being told that her life was limited because she was a girl… to standing proudly at her graduation, with confidence, a skill, and a source of income.

And there are many other stories like Nera’s.
This past year, the home served 122 children, with 51 successfully reintegrated into society. Another 187 children were reached through the outreach centre.

Behind each number is a child with a story.
