Starting September 1, youth ages 6-17 can ride Brandon Transit for FREE! Ride Ready Passes will be available through Brandon School Division schools or at the Transit Info Centre (723 Rosser Avenue) starting in September.

ℹ This program has been funded through the Province of Manitoba and is in place until August 31, 2027.

Election signs are beginning to appear across Brandon as candidates connect with voters ahead of the Municipal Council and School Board Elections on October 28, 2026.

Election signs are an important part of the democratic process and provide candidates with an opportunity to share their message with the community.

Residents are reminded not to remove, damage, or relocate election signs. Every candidate deserves the opportunity to participate in a fair and respectful election.

If you have concerns about the placement of an election sign, please do not take action yourself. Instead, contact the Brandon Police Service By-Law Unit at 204-729-2345. The BPS By-Law Enforcement will review and follow up as appropriate.

Together, we can help ensure a respectful campaign and support a fair democratic process for candidates, voters, and the community.
