Due to the severe windchill expected over the weekend, and keeping our employees safe we are closing both Municipal Waste Transfer Stations for the day on January 24th 2026.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Regular hours will resume next week.

FOUND DOG:
Our animal control officers were notified of a wondering puppy on Saturday Jan 17 and picked this little guy up off of Veterans Way.

If you know who this dog belongs to or any information about the dog please reach out to the Municipality or one of our animal control ladies (Michelle) 204-922-1994.

Due to safety concerns with the weather rapidly changing the RM of Cornwallis office will be closing as of Noon Friday December 19 2025.
