Westman Immigrant Services is a not-for-profit organization providing settlement, employment and language programs and services to immigrants in Brandon and the Westman area. In addition to being a service provider, we liaise with community groups and organizations to work towards building capacity in our community for improving services to immigrants and refugees. In addition to being a service provider, we liaise with existing educational programs and community groups. We will refer clients to other organizations in the area to help them meet their needs and to become independent within the community. Mission

Westman Immigrant Services assists newcomers in the Westman area by providing adult EAL and settlement services. Principles

- Immigrants are vital to our economy. Settlement services are an integral part of the social services system.

Services are available in both French and English.

Available Services:
• New plastic health card, registration, changes and updates
• Birth, marriage and death certificates
• Ask about the Pharmacare program
• Obtain information about Employment Standards
• Hearing Aid program support
• Obtain information about the Rent Assist program
• And much more!

Whether you're a beginner or looking to strengthen your existing English skills, our welcoming sessions will help you:

✨ Learn workplace vocabulary and job-search skills

When: Starting Tuesday, October 20, 2026
Where: In-person at 1001 Pacific Ave, Brandon.
Cost: FREE and open to eligible work and study permit holders, CUAET visa holders, refugee claimants, and Canadian citizens.
