Our 2026–2027 campaign begins this September. 🌱

Join us at Brandon City Hall on Monday, September 21st as we raise the United Way flag and officially launch this year’s campaign, Planting Possibility.

The flag raising is a chance to come together, recognize the strength of our community, and begin another year of supporting local people, programs, and possibilities.

There is no registration required. Everyone is welcome.

📚 Tools for School Program Update

After many years of helping local students start the school year with the supplies they needed, United Way West Central Manitoba has retired our Tools for School program.

The way schools and families need support has changed. Supply lists are increasingly specific to individual classrooms and students, costs have risen, and donations to the program have declined. A centralized school-supply drive is no longer the most effective way for us to respond.

We’re redirecting those resources toward youth initiatives where we can make a stronger and more sustainable impact.

To every business, school, volunteer, donor and community member who filled backpacks, collected supplies, made donations or helped distribute them over the years: thank you. You made Tools for School possible, and you helped a lot of local students along the way. ❤️
