Ready to kick off the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair?

We're grateful to be a part of the Sunrise Breakfast on Monday March 30th, where they will be accepting non-perishable donations on behalf of our Food Bank. See you there!

We’re so excited to have the Sunrise Breakfast back this year to kick off the Royal Manitoba Winter Fair (RMWF)! It’s always a fun, high-energy way to start the six-day event.

🍳 Expect a delicious breakfast, good energy, and even some special visitors in attendance 🤡

Join us Monday, March 30, from 7–10 AM at the Dome Building to start the 2026 RMWF off right.

For $10 per person (payment at the door), enjoy a hearty breakfast and admission to the RMWF. As a bonus, we’d love it if you brought a non-perishable donation for Samaritan House Ministries.

It is with heavy hearts that we share in the loss of a former Executive Director, Marla Somersall, who was with us from 1998 - 2014.

We would like to extend our sympathies to her family, friends, co-workers, and clients she worked with over the years. We are extremely grateful to her for the time and efforts her and her family gave to Samaritan House during the 17 years she spent with us. The compassion, advocacy, and love she showed for her community will never be forgotten.

Our 12th Coldest Night of the Year walk was a success! We had so much fun seeing everyone out on the route, and gathering together for a bowl of chili to warm up afterwards.

Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for their support through donations, services, and promotions. Without the support of our local businesses we wouldn't get this event off the ground.

Brandon Search and Rescue and the Barbarians Rugby Club, thank you for your time monitoring the route and keeping our walkers safe.

To our faithful volunteers who ensured check-in ran smoothly, prepared and served chili, and manned the rest stop, thank you for all of your hard work!

And to our community - everyone who spent time encouraging friends and family to donate, spreading the word, walking with us, or walking offsite with our cause in your heart, we wouldn't be on the other side of another wonderful year without your dedication.

While we finished our walk just shy of our fundraising goal, we couldn't be more proud of how our community showed up on event day.

Without our wonderful team at Saputo, our food bank would have a lot less milk to share to our guests. We're grateful everyday that we can provide milk to families thanks to their generosity.
