Sexual Assault Centre of Brant If you or someone you know is a survivor of sexual assault, we can help. All services are free and confidential.

Services for survivors of child sexual abuse, incest and adult sexual assault in a safe, comfortable, non-judgemental environment. We offer a 24 hour crisis and support line for survivors (all genders) of sexual violence, as well as friends and family members of survivors. We also offer counselling for women ages 14 and over in a supportive, safe environment as well as in all Brant County highscho

May 5th, Red Dress Day, is a National Day of awareness and remembrance for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two Spirit People (MMIWG2S+).

The REDress Project, which displays red dresses suspended in public spaces as a response to this national crisis, is created by Métis artist Jaime Black.

It is a myth that traffickers target victims they don’t know. In fact, Many survivors have been trafficked by romantic partners, including spouses, and by family members, including parents.

Between 2014-2024, Statistic Canada reports that from 2014-2024, 34% [of survivors] were trafficked by an intimate partner.

Traffickers often exploit the trust of their targets that are developed in relationships
