So sorry to hear of the passing of Jeffrey Archer this morning.

It is with great sadness that we heard the news of the death of our author, the master storyteller Jeffrey Archer, who died suddenly and peacefully at home yesterday, aged 86. We are hugely proud to have been Jeffrey’s publisher, and so sad that he is not with us to celebrate the publication today of Adam and Eve, which Jeffrey always planned to be his final novel. Our thoughts are with his beloved wife, Mary, his sons James and William, and all his family, friends and legions of readers.

I know we have a lot of Freida Readers in our library! Just thought I would let everyone know that The Witch is officially out today! You can place a hold on it today. I recommend doing that fast and alternatively if you have a ereader or device it’s available with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

Due to our upgrade we will be closed on Wednesday September 30. Please remember to not bring back items until after October 5. There is no circulation until this time as well.

We apologize for the inconvenience and will be open on Thursday October 1 with limited services still. There will also be no van run delivery this week.

We have the puzzle table going and can always play a movie or just come and read and enjoy our new reading nook room!
