Bridgewater Adult High School

Bridgewater Adult High School BAHS is a school for students 18+ that wish to upgrade a course or attain their high school diploma. All of our courses are free.

Located in Bridgewater, this program is part of the SSRCE and is FREE. Bridgewater Adult High School is for students over 18 years of age that want to upgrade a course or to graduate from high school. We offer in-person and indepdent courses.

Meet Maggie Roy!

"Going through high school, I was never the smart one. I dealt with a lot of mental health issues and did as little as possible to graduate. A few years passed, and I started thinking about my future; I knew I needed upgrading. I tried to go to NSCC to upgrade, but that wasn't for me. As I was scrolling through Facebook, I saw a friend share a post from the Bridgewater Adult High School regarding upgrading. That started my two years at Bridgewater Adult High School for Grades 11 and 12 academic courses. There were life challenges like working a full-time job, and of course COVID, but with Mena and Jeff's help I was able to complete these courses with the highest marks I have ever received! I also had an opportunity to be a part of a pilot project that helped students obtain their drivers' licenses! With the confidence that Bridgewater Adult High School gave me, I applied to work at the South Shore Regional Center for Education and received an administrative assistant position! (Definitely a full circle moment).

If you are ever thinking about upgrading, or need an extra course, this is your time! With one on one support, extra help, and with teachers who realize that life sometimes happens; these are your people!"

Congratulations to our grads and all of our students who completed courses this semester! We 'jazzed' things up for the grads who were able to make it in person to their ceremony!! Also, a big 'shout out' to their circles of support, who pushed them, even on the dreary tired days, to get out of bed, helped them through tough assignments, and listened to them during the ups and downs! Graduation and credit completion is a tribute to the student, and to everyone who cares about them! Well done!
