Water Supply Upgrade Program – Applications Open September 1!

Starting September 1, 2026, MODL residents can submit applications directly to the Municipality.

The Water Supply Upgrade Program offers low-interest financing to help eligible property owners improve access to potable water.

✅ Eligible upgrades may include:
• Well drilling
• Rainwater collection and storage systems, such as cisterns
• Well pumps, water lines and electrical connections
• Other systems that improve water supply, use or conservation

Financing:
• Up to $20,000
• 2% interest
• Repayment over a 5-year period

🏠 Who can apply?
• Owners of eligible single-unit or two-unit residential properties and qualifying not-for-profit properties.

Experience the joy of cycling!

Our Accessible Cycling Program offers individuals who are unable to cycle independently the opportunity to enjoy a bike ride in a safe and comfortable way. Participants are not required to pedal.

Rides begin and end at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (LCLC), 135 North Park Street, Bridgewater.

If you live in District 9, now is the time to make sure you're ready to vote in the upcoming Special Election.
Contact the Returning Office before September 8, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. to:

✔ Add your name to the voters list
✔ Update your address or contact information
✔ Correct information on the voters list

Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter containing the PIN needed to vote online or by telephone.
Election Day: October 17, 2026
