The Cooperative Care Centre staff are committed to providing a safe, fair, and nonjudgmental environment for all visiting the Centre. The Centre provides information, and guidance to those who are seeking assistance when it comes to connecting with services in the community. The CCC (Cooperative Care Centre) provides a warm meal each night, breakfast, and a lunch to go each day to our guests. We a

lso provide supplies such as clothing, hygiene, and various other items to our guests, which are generously donated to us by local businesses and individuals throughout the community. We do accept donations and encourage those looking to help support those most in need to call us at the number on our page for more information regarding donations around supplies and meals. If you are looking to make a financial donation to the Centre, there are a couple options that are available. We do provide receipts for those that request one:

1) Cheque: Payable to Cooperative Care Centre, P.O box 6, Brockville, ON, K6V 5T7

2) E-transfer: [email protected] and again note it is for the Cooperative Care Centre.

3) Drop off at our location: 1805 Oxford Avenue, Brockville Ontario. We thank you for your ongoing support to help those most in need in our community!

💚We would like to extend our sincere and heartfelt thanks to First Presbyterian Church of Brockville for their faithful Sunday supper meal; in collaboration with several other churchs), and donations over the years.

Time and time again, they showed up with homemade meals, prepared with care and compassion, ensuring that every one of our guests had the opportunity to enjoy healthy, nutritious food. These meals were about more than nourishment, they were a reminder of dignity, consistency, and community.

Your generosity and commitment made a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for the care you poured into our Centre and the people we served.

The last dinner and morning warm beverages at the Centre were truly bittersweet.

In a time filled with anxiety and uncertainty, we were blessed to witness people come together with one shared purpose: to spread kindness and joy. Seaway Church generously raised funds to provide our guests with a Chinese meal, something many of them had never experienced or been served at the Centre before. The smiles, gratitude, and sense of being cared for will stay with us.

The morning send off, consisted of Bianca (Queen Bee Cafe) making sure no one was left without a warm beverage. Her presence, compassion, and simple act of kindness meant more than words can express.

Moments like these remind us just how blessed we have been, by our community, our partners, and every person who chose to show up with love.

💚Today, we want to acknowledge the incredible staff who were the true backbone of this organization, especially those who stayed until the very end.

The times were uncertain and unpredictable. The work was hard, exhausting, and often emotionally heavy. Yet day after day, you showed up. You were there through the tears, the difficult moments, and the heartbreak, but also through the smiles, the laughter, and the human connection that made it all meaningful.

Our front-line staff carried this program. We simply could not have delivered it without you. From serving meals, making coffee and juice, signing guests in and out, ensuring safety, cleaning, doing laundry, washing dishes, sorting donations, and so much more, the list truly goes on and on.

You did the work that often goes unseen, but never unnoticed. You all know who you are.

Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and your resilience. Thank you for standing strong through the hardest days. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. 💚

It is with great sadness that, as of 8:00 AM today, our doors closed to our guests. For just over five years, we have had the privilege of serving our community, standing alongside those who needed us most. From day one, our focus has been to provide care, support, and a safe space for the most vulnerable among us.

We feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to make a difference, and we are profoundly grateful for the partnerships we’ve formed and the community connections that have strengthened our work. Your generosity, kindness, and belief in our mission have allowed us to continue showing up every day for those who rely on us.

Your unwavering support has reminded us why we do what we do. While this chapter comes to a close, the memories, friendships, and impact we’ve shared will remain with us forever.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who walked alongside us, supported us, and believed in the work we do. Together, we have created hope, compassion, and humanity in our community, and that is something that will never be lost.

💫Bianca from Queen Bees Cafe has been a game-changer for our team, volunteering her time each week to craft incredible warm beverages for our Centre guests. Her dedication knows no bounds, as evidenced by her selfless act of serving hot chocolate and delivering gifts to each individual on Christmas morning. We're forever grateful for Bianca's kindness and generosity. You can find her at the farmers market each weekend, where she offers an impressive array of specialty coffees, teas, lattes and more. We want to take a moment to recognize an incredible manager who stepped up every single time it was needed. She devoted her time, energy, and heart to the guests at the Centre, always putting them before herself.

Even on her days off, she showed up. Again and again, without hesitation. Her dedication, compassion, and consistency did not go unnoticed.
