BJHS students will start school on Tuesday, September 8th and the building will remain closed to general public until that time.

An Important Update for Brooks Junior High Families 📣 📣

We know there is a lot of excitement around the opening of the new Brooks Junior High School, and we’re just as excited to welcome students into their new space!

As final construction and preparations continue, there is a strong likelihood of a slight delay to the start of the 2026/27 school year for BJHS students.

The official start date has not yet been confirmed. Grasslands Public Schools and BJHS will share another update on August 24, 2026, with the confirmed start date and any other important information families will need.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our BJHS families while our construction, maintenance, IT and school teams work hard to get everything ready for a safe and exciting opening.
