We did it!!!
Newbrook Lodge is excited to share that our Rodeo Parade float won 1st Place – President’s Choice this Saturday!
What makes this even more special is that this was our first year ever participating in the parade. We had so much fun being part of this community tradition, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone who helped make it happen.
A huge thank you to Charmaine Greer for spearheading the project and bringing her vision for this year’s float theme to life. Thank you to Darren Sjodin for generously letting us use his personal trailer, and to Richard Kam for driving our float in the parade.
Special thanks as well to Viola Bryne and Kim Hillier for putting together all the candy bags that were handed out along the route.
And to all the staff and family members who volunteered to join us, dressed the part, and stayed in character throughout the parade—thank you! Your enthusiasm and teamwork made all the difference.
This award belongs to everyone who helped. It shows what can happen when people work together and support one another. Many hands truly do make light work.
