The Brooks & District Health Foundation would like to extend our sincere thanks to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, competitors, and everyone involved with the 5th Annual Brooks Smoker Wars BBQ Fundraiser for their incredible support of our community.

This year’s event is helping us move one step closer to completing the renovation of the remaining two palliative care rooms at Brooks Health Centre. These rooms provide comfort, dignity, and peace for patients and their families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

We encourage everyone to come out July 17-18th, enjoy some amazing BBQ, support a fantastic local event, and help make a lasting difference right here in our community.

Together, we are investing in local healthcare and ensuring that more families can receive compassionate end-of-life care close to home, surrounded by the people they love.

From Justin, Catherine, Bodie, and Jovie, thank you to everyone who donated, bid, shared, liked, and helped spread the word about the Aarit Hok Memorial Birthday Auction.

Because of your incredible generosity and support, we raised $23,423.05!

Every dollar raised will go to the Aarit Hok Pediatric Fund (AHPF) to help purchase pediatric equipment and enhance pediatric care at our local hospital.

We are deeply grateful to each and every one of you for helping us honor Aarit’s memory in such a meaningful way. Your kindness and support will make a lasting difference for local children and families.

🌭🍔 The Brooks & District Health Foundation is celebrating its 30th Anniversary today!

As a thank you to our amazing community for 30 years of support, we’re hosting a BBQ at LMSPC (the old Martin Chrysler parking lot) on June 16 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
