Water System Maintenance Update

The Town of Bruce Mines thanks all residents for their cooperation during the recent water system maintenance. Your support helps ensure safe, reliable service for everyone on the system.

Residents may now resume normal water use.

Municipal Office Closure Notice

The Town of Bruce Mines Municipal Office will be closed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Regular office hours will resume on Thursday, October 1, 2026.

This day provides an opportunity to reflect on the ongoing journey toward reconciliation and to honour Residential School Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities.

Algoma Power – Outage Advisory

There is currently an Algoma Power outage affecting residents in Bruce Mines and Desbarats. Algoma Power has confirmed the issue and crews have been dispatched to complete repairs.

At this time, the estimated restoration time is not yet available. Updates will be shared as soon as they are provided by Algoma Power.
