The Tigger Show
Eeyore: “Pooh… there’s one day I wish I could erase from my memory.”

Pooh: “The day you lost someone you loved?”

Eeyore: “Yes. Whenever I remember it, everything inside me becomes heavy again. Sometimes it feels as though I’ve forgotten how to breathe.”

Pooh moved closer and sat quietly beside him.

Pooh: “Perhaps that day hurts so much because all the days before it mattered so much.”

Eeyore: “I remember thinking there would be another tomorrow.”

Pooh: “We usually do.”

Eeyore: “If I had known there wouldn’t be, I would have stayed longer. I would have hugged tighter. I would have said ‘I love you’ one more time.”

Pooh: “And if you had said it one more time, Eeyore, your heart would probably still wish for one more.”

Eeyore lowered his head.

Eeyore: “Do you think they knew?”

Pooh: “I think love is often understood in all the little things we forget to count—the time we shared, the kindness we gave, the laughter, the ordinary moments when simply being together was enough.”

Eeyore: “But that last day still hurts.”

Pooh: “Then don’t ask your heart to forget it. Just remember that their whole life with you was bigger than the day you lost them.”

Eeyore leaned against Pooh.

Eeyore: “I suppose goodbye was only one moment.”

Pooh: “Yes. And love was all the moments before it… and every moment you continue carrying them afterward.”

🍂 What a beautiful autumn day to get out and enjoy a little piece of Burin’s history. 🍂

If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful to spend a little time today, we’d love to invite you to take a stroll through the Burin Heritage Cemetery Garden.

Come by yourself, bring a friend, or bring along a good book. Find a quiet corner to sit and reflect, enjoy the beautiful view overlooking the old town of Burin, or simply take a few moments to enjoy the peace and beauty of this very special place.

As you wander through the garden, take some time to read the storyboards. They offer little glimpses into the people and stories that helped shape our community.

There’s something very special about this place. It is a place of remembrance, but it is also a place for the living — a place to walk, think, remember, read, and simply enjoy a quiet moment.

We hope you’ll drop by and experience it for yourself. 💜

And when you do, please leave us a comment on our page and tell us what this special place means to you.

Come, take a walk, slow down for a while, and enjoy the peace of the Burin Heritage Cemetery Garden. 🌿🍂

A great time to stroll through. Thanks Cindy
