We love Pilates on Plains & our local Tim Hortons!

Pilates on Plains is the September business recipient of a complimentary box of donuts from our friends at Tim Hortons – 29 Plains Road West.

Pilates on Plains offers a welcoming space where people can move, connect, and feel good about themselves. Their focus on creating an inclusive and supportive environment makes it a great addition to the Aldershot community.

One of the nominations said it best: “They provide a welcoming space for everybody coming from different walks of life, and they give them the chance to feel empowered.”

What a great day for the Power of Partnership and Placemaking 💚
This week, we had the pleasure of presenting our Placemaking and Beautification projects in Aldershot and moderating the Power of Partnership panel at the OBIAA (Ontario BIA Association) Professional Development Day right here in Burlington with our friends in Burlington Downtown BIA.

We talked about placemaking, community building, accessibility, collaboration and one of my favourite reminders from the day, build relationships before you need them.

A huge thank you to our incredible panelists Stacey Allen-Cillis, Christina Mulder (Burlington Food Bank) Steff Bishop, Kevin Cronin (Yellow Umbrella Driving School) Sabah Kazimi (City of Burlington, Ontario for sharing your experiences, ideas and perspectives. You made our job as moderator an easy one!

And thank you to OBIAA, Burlington Downtown BIA and the Aldershot Village BIA team for bringing BIA colleagues from across Ontario together to learn, connect and share ideas.
There was a lot of great conversation, but the message was pretty simple: when we work together, we can do so much more.

We loved having you on our panel, you were an excellent addition to the day!

☕🍂 International Coffee Day + fall flavours?
That’s a pretty perfect combination.

We stopped by Unbound Coffee right here in Aldershot to celebrate with a couple of their seasonal fall drinks because really, is there a better time of year for a great coffee?

Cozy flavours, whipped cream, a few pumpkins and a locally made cup of coffee. Unbound understood the assignment. 🎃

Celebrate International Coffee Day by grabbing your favourite drink and supporting a local coffee shop while you’re at it.

Happy sipping, Aldershot! ☕💚
