☀️ It's hard to believe how the summer months have flown by! And with the end of August, today we say goodbye (for now 🤞) to our summer Office Administrator Julia.

Julia has been an integral part of the team since arriving at the Burlington Community Foundation in May through the Canada Summer Jobs Program. She's led the development of a new fundholder portal, managed file modernization, and assisted with events to connect students and community. 👏

🗓️ Open from September 8-29, 2026 at 5 pm
✨ Community priority areas: standard of living, housing, health, mental health & well-being, and underserved children and youth
💰 Burlington-serving organizations can apply for up to $15,000 in funding
✔️ Application evaluations will be aligned with Burlington's 2025 Vital Signs report
⭐ Applications open to registered charities and not-for-profit organizations with a fiscal sponsor
🌐 Applications will be submitted through BCF's digital Granting Hub

🐐✨ From caring for goats and raptors to inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards, Mountsberg's impact reaches far beyond its trails.

What visitors may not know is that two charitable agency funds held at the Burlington Community Foundation help support the long-term sustainability of Conservation Halton, helping to ensure cherished spaces continue to educate, inspire, and connect our community with nature.
