We invite you to the launch event for the Halton Community Pledge to Address the Intimate Partner Violence Epidemic. The event will take place in-person on November 28th, 2024 at the Oakville Convention Centre.

The Halton Prevention Council (https://hvpc.ca/) has served our community since 1992 in response to the violent deaths of two local young women. Today the committee is supported by the Ministry of Community, Children and Social Services as one of the provincial Violence against Women Coordinating Committees.

HVPC is also currently acting as the Intimate Partner Violence Action Table for the Community Safety and Well-Being plan (https://www.halton.ca/The-Region/Projects-and-Initiatives/Community-Safety-and-Well-Being-in-Halton) for Halton.
