Tomorrow (Saturday, June 20), Central Park will be the staging area and starting point for the Summer Music Parade. Due to high volumes of traffic and pedestrian congestion expected in the area, consider walking, cycling, or taking transit if you plan to visit our Central Branch tomorrow morning!

There will be no access to the park via Drury Lane from about 8am to 11am, and limited access via New Street/Teen Tour Way. There will be no parking in the north parking lot until around 11am.

This June, we’re celebrating the diversity of our community and the many stories that help us better understand ourselves and each other. Visit any BPL branch to explore Pride-themed book displays, discover LGBTQ2S+ authors and find your next great read.
 
We’re also excited to welcome author and screenwriter J.M. Frey for a special author talk on June 23 to discuss her novels exploring q***r romance, speculative fiction, and the stories that inspire her work.
