55 years of supporting families, building connections, and strengthening community. ๐Ÿ’™

Our 55th Annual General Meeting was a truly special moment for Burnaby Family Life โ€” an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate the impact of the past year, and honour the many people who have helped shape our journey.

During the AGM, we shared our latest Annual Report and highlighted the work, stories, partnerships, and community connections that continue to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families across Burnaby.

We were also grateful to gather with members of our staff, Board, community partners, and Burnaby City Councillors to celebrate this meaningful milestone together.

As we mark 55 years of service, we are incredibly proud of our history and deeply thankful to everyone who has been part of BFLโ€™s story. We look forward to continuing to grow, connect, and support our community for many years to come.

As BFL continues to grow and evolve, weโ€™re excited to welcome new voices, perspectives, and experiences to our Board. Sandy and Kai bring a strong commitment to community, and we look forward to the ideas, leadership, and contributions they will bring as we continue supporting individuals and families across Burnaby.

Our Young Parent Program offers free, one-on-one outreach support for eligible young parents (under 24) in Burnaby. Support can include parenting and child development, education, housing, health, community resources, and planning for your future.

Our team can meet with you in the community or in your home, depending on what works best for you.
