North Queens Nursing Home is a medium-sized long-term home for special care facility in Caledonia, Nova Scotia. We offer 24-hour care to those who can no longer care for themselves at home. We are a not-for-profit organization under the direction of a Board of Directors. We have a 42-resident capacity, with both respite and palliative care services. North Queens Nursing Home first opened in 1938 as the Wright Nursing Home. In 1944 it became a Cottage Hospital primarily supporting maternity care.

It was a good day to stay indoors with all the rain. We had a fun morning playing Yahtzee. There was no one to get Yahtzee, some close. A big thank you to The Country Jammers for an amazing time this afternoon for our Pub Day. The Sangria, was a big hit for the ladies.

Today was a more relaxing day. We had a couple of fellas water the plants and filled the bird feeders. It was a nice walk around the Nursing Home. We had a few laughs at playing connect four, it was the women against the men and the women took the win.
