Here is the final statement after the court hearing between us (TTR Group Corp.) and AHS and AMVIC on December 20, 2021 at the Calgary Courts Centre.
Since December of 2020, TTR Group Corp. has been in an ongoing battle between AHS (Alberta Health Services), AMVIC (Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council) and the Alberta Government in entirety. Between October of 2018 and April 2021, TTR Group Corp. was forced to cease operations on 7 separate occasions equating to a total of 5 months and 16 days. During this time, countless wrong doings on behalf of the above government agencies resulting in the eventual and permanent closure of TTR Group Corp. on April 2nd, 2021. Staying afloat became virtually impossible after reviewing the monthly expenses required to maintain the company. After countless days in court over the past year and negotiations with all parties involved, it was very clear that it was due to error of which none was on us, that the eventual demise of the company was to due unlawful proceedings on behalf of: Alberta Health Services, Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council, Foothills County Royal Canadian Mounted Police and affiliated organizations. No bailiff companies are named in the proceedings and it has been ruled that no responsibility will fall on them. Details of the charges and breach of laws are listed below:
AHS is charged with:
• 2 counts of Trespass (SC 2000, cT.7) following entering the premises without permission on the dates of March 3rd, 2020 and December 28th, 2020.
• 1 count of Break and Enter (SC 1985, c.46) on February 18th, 2021
• 3 counts of Unlawful Seizure of Property under The Seized Property Management Act (SC 1993, c.37) on February 4th, 2021, March 5th, 2021 and March 17th, 2021
• 2 counts of Public Mischief (SC 1985, c.46) 140(1) Making a false statement that accuses someone of having committed a criminal offense
All charges are to be paid to myself by July 17th, 2022 as per court rulings. Failure to do so may result in the organizations having to pay additional charges and fines.
AMVIC is found guilty of breaching THEIR OWN contract as a license provider, revoking a license without reasonable cause and pressing fines without valid reason. AMVIC agreed to pay a lump sum ruled by the judge present in the room today, in exchange for no charges to be pressed.
AHS denied all charges throughout the meeting however at the end, the judge ruled that they are guilty of the above and charged them accordingly. They have been given 6 months to pay the amount agreed upon (which will not be disclosed publicly for our safety and security). I will say however that although I lost my business over this, I do believe that suitable charges and fines were given above and beyond both my lawyers and I’s expectations. The owner of the location I was occupying while running TTR Group Corp. was also compensated for the damages incurred by AHS entering the premises unlawfully.
I am now free of all pending charges, fines and breaches. I am done and I can wash my hands clean of this huge headache. I would like to thank everyone for the support throughout the entire ordeal, it truly kept me going when I didn’t have the faith. We are finally at the end of a long, long battle and I can finally truly take my first breath and relax since all of this unfolded over a year ago. Now be sure to stay tuned as this Summer may be huge!
Have a safe and Happy Holidays and lets send out 2021 with a BANG!
