There has always been a portion. of Canadas population who believed that the Liberals were Canada's natural ruling party. They've created a new Canadian Nationalism that mirrors LPC talking points. To them you're not Canadian unless you hate Trump, Alberta, vaccine and gender criticals and support plans to redefine Canada as Carney wants though he doesn't tell us what this Canada willlook like. No opposing views allowed.

🔑 Key Differences Between PPC and CPC
1. Role of Government
• PPC: Advocates for a smaller federal government, reduced bureaucracy, and greater provincial autonomy. The PPC emphasizes ending “imperial federalism” and restoring provincial rights.
• CPC: Supports fiscal responsibility but maintains a more centralized federal role, with structured national programs and policies.
2. Equalization & Provincial Autonomy
• PPC: Calls for equalization reform to stop wealth transfers that disadvantage Alberta and other provinces. The PPC platform stresses empowering provinces to manage their own resources and finances.
• CPC: While acknowledging provincial concerns, the Conservatives generally work within the existing equalization framework, focusing more on national economic growth.
3. Immigration Policy
• PPC: Promotes immigration reform with lower overall intake, prioritizing economic migrants, and ending official multiculturalism. The PPC argues for preserving Canadian values and culture.
• CPC: Supports immigration as a driver of economic growth, with policies to expand border security and streamline integration.
4. Climate & Energy
• PPC: Rejects “climate alarmism,” focusing instead on practical environmental measures and protecting Canadian energy independence.
• CPC: Endorses market-based solutions to reduce emissions, while supporting Canadian oil and gas development.
5. Taxes & Fiscal Policy
• PPC: Pushes for balanced budgets first, then tax cuts, aiming to downsize government spending.
• CPC: Promises targeted tax relief, such as lowering the lowest income tax bracket from 15% to 12.75%.
