🌿 W**d Wednesday Spotlight! 🌿
Say hello to this week’s invasive contender: Leafy Spurge. Dive into the graphic to learn how this aggressive plant spreads and what strategies can help keep it in check 💪
**dWednesday

Leafy Spurge is a hardy perennial that spreads both through rhizomatous roots and abundant seed production. This dual strategy allows it to establish quickly and makes management a real challenge. An integrated pest management (IPM) approach is essential for long‑term control.

🚨 June Enforcement Focus: Road Safety for Everyone 🚨
This month, enforcement efforts across our region are focused on protecting vulnerable road users, construction zones, and commercial vehicle safety—because safety on our roads is a shared responsibility.
👣 Vulnerable Road Users
Pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists are at greater risk because they don’t have the physical protection of a vehicle.
➡️ Slow down, give space, and stay alert—especially at intersections and in high-traffic areas.
🚧 Construction Zones
Work zones can change quickly and pose serious risks to both workers and drivers.
➡️ Obey posted signs, reduce speeds, and watch for workers and equipment.
🚛 Commercial Vehicles
Large trucks and commercial vehicles have limited visibility and longer stopping distances.
➡️ Avoid blind spots, give them extra room, and never cut in front.
✅ Safety is the Priority
Whether you’re driving, cycling, or walking—your choices matter. Staying alert, slowing down, and respecting others on the road helps prevent serious incidents.
Let’s work together to keep our roads safe this June and beyond.
