We are opennnnnnnnn!!!! The playground equipment at South Haddon Park is ready for the Littles!

Day #2 went off without a hitch on Friday! Volunteers levelled everything and finished the equipment set up while our amazing Park & Play coordinator got things moving quickly with the cement truck. Lots of wheel barrow work, shoveling, leveling concrete, cleaning up the equipment posts & ensuring the equipment stayed level. Thank you so much to our volunteers, the playground committee, community members who brought us wonderful snacks/chairs/canopy, etc, and to the Park and Play coordinators for their expertise & sense of humor!

There are a few finishing touches that need to be done before we are open to the kids - the gravel will be put into the space and the city will be fixing/mending the grass & border for safety around the park.
⭐ We kindly ask that community members stay out of the fenced area of the park until all fencing and caution tape is removed. Thank you! ⭐

We can't wait to get the community out to celebrate the new park! Stay tuned!

It's happening, it's really happening!
THANK YOU SO MUCH to YOU (our community members) for all of your support and love toward this project. Also to for making this become a reality today - along with our committee members and volunteers from Marsh Canada & our own community! So much work went into this day and we can't believe it's finally here!

We are looking for Volunteers for DAY #2 of the playground build - yes, it's REALLY HAPPENING!

Marsh Canada will be providing volunteers for day one of the build. For day 2 - August 19th - volunteers from our community will finish off the build!!
