Things got a little competitive at TLW yesterday. 🏓👀

Six teams — Recreation, Health Care, Culinary, House Cleaning/Maintenance, Admin and Leadership — hit the court for our staff pickleball tournament, with residents cheering them on from the sidelines.

It all came down to Leadership vs. Recreation in the final… and Recreation served up the win. 🏆👏

Bragging rights secured. Until the rematch.

Apparently, 10 flavours of ice cream are enough to make us forget how cold it was outside. 🍦

Frozen Assets rolled in today, residents made their picks, and we quickly relocated the ice cream party indoors.

Waffle cones, bowls, and zero complaints about the temperature once dessert was involved.

Who says you need 18 holes for a great day on the green? ⛳️ Our residents took on the brand-new mini golf course for a little friendly rivalry and some serious putting practice.

Over the past few weeks, our Recreation & Maintenance team, with help from a few residents, have been busy building mini golf lanes from the ground up. What started as a few materials in the workshop has now become a full mini golf course, complete with plenty of creative obstacles.

Now it’s time to put the finished course to the test. Let the mini golf begin!

Every resident’s journey is different, and so is the care they need along the way.

One family recently shared how our team worked alongside them as their father’s needs changed, helping transition him to a level of care that better supported his physical and cognitive well-being.

Today, he is happy, comfortable, and receiving the support he needs — giving his family peace of mind, even from out of province.

We’re grateful for the trust families place in Trico LivingWell and proud to provide care that sees the individual, honours their dignity, and adapts to their needs every step of the way.

Today, Trico Living Well residents took on the annual Mini Alzheimer’s Run around Kingsland Park, with TLW staff cheering them on every step of the way. There was dancing, laughter, high fives, and plenty of good vibes—all while coming together for a great cause.
