Today 2554 had a busy field training day at Fish Creek Park. They worked on knots and lashings, Coleman stoves and building hootchie shelters. Although the wind warning meant we had to cut the day short for safety reasons, our cadets made the most of their training and were also able to enjoy some beautiful views along the Bow river.

Last night marked a significant evening for 2554 PPCLI RCACC as we celebrated two important leadership transitions.

We said farewell to MWO Hamilton Colbourne as he aged out of the Cadet Program and welcomed WO Joshua Toukam into his new leadership role.

We also marked our Change of Command, with Capt Jeanelle Narayan handing over command of 2554 to Capt Bradley Tuckwood.

Thank you to MWO Colbourne and Capt Narayan for your dedication, leadership, and contributions to the Corps.

As we begin this next chapter, we look forward to the leadership of WO Toukam and Capt Tuckwood. We know you will continue to build on the traditions and successes of 2554.

Congratulations to you both — the future of 2554 is in great hands!

The arrival Assistance Group is going well at 2554 PPCLI Army Cadet Corps.
We’re glad to welcome so many new cadets and look forward to the year ahead.

A reminder that next week is for all cadets, new and returning!

The officers, adult staff and members of the parent’s committee have met tonight to solidify the plans for the year at 2554.
We’re looking forward to what looks like a great year ahead!

***Remember, new cadets who are joining us for this training year and have not paraded with us yet: September 8 at 18:30. Parents or guardians, please attend to go over some paperwork, and please bring your cadet's birth certificate (or equivalent) and their Alberta health card.

For our returning cadets, your first night is September 15 at 18:30. Likewise, parents or guardians please attend as well to go through the annual validations.

We hope everyone is enjoying their last few days of the summer break.
We’re looking forward to welcoming back our cadets and greeting our new joiners for the new training year.

A reminder on timings:
Cadets present and ready to go for 18:00hrs, parents and other guests seated no later than 18:45hrs.
We’re looking forward to sharing our night with you as we finish off the training year!
