SAFE SPACE SESSIONS
Fridays from 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
Location: Miskanawah, 2335 30 Ave NE

Delivered in partnership with Affinity Mentorship Foundation, this drop-in group offers a culturally grounded, relational space for youth to connect, reflect, and grow.

Each session explores the Seven Sacred Teachings, guided by a Blackfoot Knowledge Keeper, alongside mental health activities led by a registered psychologist. Offered in parallel, these teachings and practices support youth in strengthening identity, deepening emotional awareness, and building healthy habits and coping skills.

Whether you are navigating challenges, seeking connection, or feeling curious, you are welcome here.
Drop-in program, for youth ages 12-24.
Guardian consent required for youth under 18.

Turning Points: Addiction Healing Program

Starting Wednesday, September 23, 2026
Every Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:45PM
Location: Children’s Cottage, 1804 Home Road NW
Turning Points is an 8-week addiction healing program for adults of all genders. Following Medicine Wheel teachings, we journey together through the healing of mind, heart, body and spirit, within the wider community and all relations. Turning Points features experiential, group therapy, and learning elements held within safe ethical space, and includes time with Elders and knowledge holders.

Join TAWAW Family Resource Network as as we celebrate the joys of summer with two fun-filled days in the park! Spend quality time with your children, connect with other families, and enjoy a variety of outdoor games, activities, and be with community. We'll wrap up the season with our Back-to-School BBQ Celebration, bringing families together to celebrate the end of summer and the start of a new school year.

Our Sihtoskâtowin Wellness Circle provides a space to share challenges as well as the medicines and wisdoms that come to help along our healing journey. Facilitated by Lisa L’Hirondelle and Cathy Kostincer, this space will provide opportunities for connections and learning land-based tools for wellness, with ways to support one another.
Sihtoskâtowin is the act of supporting and helping each other, as well as looking out for one another; it’s the collective support for the wellness, safety, and care of the community.
Please note the following: Light meal provided, No childcare provided, Adults only
