One of our favourite things to do during the summer is to visit a nearby park, and last Friday we went to Prince Island Park! We got a picnic set up, played around the playground, dipped our feet in the river, and got some ice cream to end the day! So much fun getting the chance to spend the day outside ☀️🌳🍦

Last Friday we had the most amazing fun visiting Butterfield Acres Farm! There were so many farm animals that we got to pet, we had a tractor ride, and we even got the chance to milk goats! This was such an amazing experience 🙂 🐐🐖🐓🐑🦙🐂🚜🦃

We are so so excited to be back and running! Cornerstone is open for the summer in August starting tomorrow, August 4th! Our summer hours are Monday-Friday from 11:30am - 5:00pm. There will be no cohort separation for August, so all youth can come every day! We have so many fun activities, programs, and field trips planned, and can’t wait to be together again.

Youth who were already registered for the 2025-2026 semester don’t need to re-register for August. However, if you’re a new youth wanting to join Cornerstone, you can register at www.cornerstoneyouthcentre.com/programming

2026-2027 registrations will open at the beginning of September!

Another amazing semester in the books ☺️ Last week we had our cohort graduation, and we cannot express our gratitude enough for these youth. They all have worked so hard in the semester, engaging in program, doing their homework, finding confidence in their hard goals, and making friends. Cornerstone would not be what it is today without their bright energy, their creativity, and their passion for learning and growth. Good job to our Cornerstone community. ❤️❤️

Now this is a friendly reminder that we are CLOSED for all of July. While we are sad to be gone for so long, we are so excited for August and all the amazing things we have planned! See you all very soon! in the meantime, have an awesome summer! ☀️😎💙
