📩 Some B-lender clients are now being asked to requalify at renewal — even if they’ve never missed a payment.

That means if your income’s changed… or your job looks unstable… your lender might say: ‘No renewal unless you prove you still qualify.’

This could become more common — especially in uncertain markets.

✅ Ask your lender if you’ll need to requalify
✅ Have a backup plan (yes, even if you paid on time)
✅ Start prepping 4 months before renewal



Equitable Bank has reportedly been sending out emails to a small number of 'B' customers, asking them to requalify at renewal. At least some of the borrowers in question have apparently never even defaulted. This begs the glaring question: Why? Here's what Equitable Bank told us about it.
