The University of Calgary Model United Nations Team is an academic group which competes in conferences simulating actual United Nations bodies such as the General Assembly, Security Council, Human Rights Council, and many more. The team attends various conferences throughout Alberta and Canada such as CalWHO, Alberta MUN, UBCMUN, MCMUN, and has also competed against institutions such as Harvard Un

iversity. Through these conferences, delegates practice and develop many abilities such as their public speaking skills, team working skills, professionalism, and how to become more analytical.
