Wait… did recycling change?
Yes. No. Kind of?
Recycling changed across Ontario on January 1st – but your routine didn’t change much.
The big difference?
- It’s now run by Circular Materials, province-wide
- Locally collected by Emterra
- Paid for by producers (not you!)
So if you were worried… you already survived the change!

We want to hear from you!

The Municipality of Callander is inviting residents, visitors, and community members to complete our Community Accessibility Survey 2026.

Your feedback will help us better understand accessibility barriers in Callander and identify ways to improve municipal spaces, services, programs, and information for everyone.

Whether you have experienced accessibility challenges yourself, support someone who has, or simply want to share your perspective, your input is important.

Please take a few minutes to complete the survey and help us build a more inclusive community. The survey will close for responses on June 21st. Physical copies will be available at the Main Office, Callander Public Library, and Callander Bay Heritage Museum.
